Hearts was a popular signing for Football Aid in 2001, the Jam Tart faithful lining up to take part in the event which saw legends Gary MacKay and John Robertson in action. Club Ambassador, Alan McLaren made his Football Aid debut the following season and continues to be a regular fixture at the event, joined by the likes of Jimmy Sandison, Scott Crabbe and Dave McPherson over the past few years.
